Steel City Church began to lay down roots during the summer of 2020
when several families, young professionals, and college students from the Carolinas and Pittsburgh faithfully joined together to form a community committed to learning and living the ways of Jesus.
Our community continues to grow as we invite people like you, no matter where you are on your faith journey - skeptic, curious, newly following Jesus, or longtime follower of Jesus - to learn and live with us!

We were created to enjoy God and find ultimate satisfaction in Him. We can only experience this connection through faith in what Jesus has done for us. He lived the life we could not live and died the death we should have died. His resurrection is our present reality, and His return is our future hope. Enjoying Him every day is a response to and flows from His love for us.

OTHER
In the last hours before His crucifixion, Jesus gave His followers a new way to live, telling them to love another just as He had loved them. Jesus generously invested in the lives of His followers and gave His life for them. We are invited to do the same today. Sometimes, it's messy and challenging, but together, we help each other live out this command every day.

Jesus came to us when we couldn't and wouldn't go to Him. Because He came, we go. We intentionally place ourselves in spaces and places to engage with people disconnected from Jesus and His church. We go with the Gospel through acts of loving service and a willingness to share the truth about Jesus everyday people every day.
